My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up, and I can’t decide what to get him. I got us tickets to a Lakers pre-season game waaaay in advance, but the game got cancelled. Thank you NBA.
So here are my choices:
A. He recently got a used car, 2003 BMW 325CI back in August. The car is in excellent condition, but has not been cleaned professionally since the purchase. I’d like to give his car a complete detail (exterior + interior) from a certain company. ~$200 from an excellent detailer.
B. He has a few ESP guitars, two of which are ESP LTD EC 256 (just different colors, lol) and he’s planning to sell at least one and make bucks out of it. I know he absolutely LOVES both guitars–he was really excited when the news about it came out, patiently waited for the release, and has now been using them for his shows (he’s in a band). I’m sad that he would want to sell the guitar, and I thought maybe I can “buy it back” for him. ESP LTD EC 256 is ~$400 at Guitar Center.
C. He’s always worn eyeglasses. Earlier this year, he stopped using his prescription eyeglasses, and I remember hearing him say that he needed new ones. Since then, I RARELY see him use his eyeglasses. He does not have vision insurance, which might explain why. He gets his eyeglasses from Lenscrafters, and if I were to get him eyeglasses, I would get them from there. ~$400+ (eye exam + frame + lenses).
Of the three, he needs the eyeglasses the most, but also costs the most. The guitar I think would be the sweetest gesture, but can wait till Christmas. The auto detail comes in between.
We’re turning 9 months exactly a week after his birthday, and I will not be able to see him in his birthday and our 9th month (I’ll see him days before and after, but not during).
