I was a major harry potter fan since I was 10, I wasn’t allowed as a child to go the premiere because my parents were really busy so as I child I promised myself that when I got older I would definitely go and that is what consoled me. After the 7th book came out (which I read in 24 hours) I remember after reading “All was well” I again consoled myself that there were still the movies to come out and harry potter wasn’t really over yet.
Time went by and as I got older (now 22) life became difficult with A-levels and family problems and I put harry potter to aside (I still loved harry potter but my life no longer consisted of me sitting for hours surfing mugglenet and youtube videos)
When it came to the final film on the 15th of July. All my childhood memories started coming back and I couldn’t help being so sad that it was nearly over. I completely forgot and I hate myself for forgetting. Only after watching the final movie and coming out of the cinema in tears I logged on to youtube and stumbled onto premiere videos.
I regret it so much I really do. It was a historical event that I missed. I had holidays from uni then and only live 20 minutes away. I have no problem camping out. People had come from Sweden, America and Brazil. I live only 20 minutes away only 20 minutes. Its been 5 months and I still regret it. I watch End of an Era videos and ball my eyes out of regret.
I can’t forgive myself for missing it, I really can’t! What an experience it must’ve been to let slip away.
This is a SERIOUS question and I am really UPSET so genuine advice would be much appreciated because I know I can’t change the past and I really really need to move on x
P.S : I went to the DVD signing in harrods on December the 1st and I met James and Oliver Phelps, Warwick Davies, Jessie Cave and Mark Williams. My family and friends tried to cheer me up by reminding me that at least I went to that but it’s just not the same guys it really isn’t x
